Puerto Rican Cuisine
Find the capitalized words in the puzzle grid
"Puerto Rican cuisine is full of flavor and comfort food. MOFONGO and crispy TOSTONES are always a crowd favorite, usually served with ARROZ CON GANDULES and slow roasted PERNIL ASADO. On holidays, families will make PASTELES, a savory dish made with SOFRITO as its base. Festive celebrations usually include LECHON ASADO."
Coimbra — University Spirit & Old City Charm
Find the capitalized words in the puzzle grid
"Coimbra's student traditions feel timeless and theatrical. ESTUDANTES (students) fill streets near the MONDEGO (Mondego River), climbing ESCADARIAS (stairways) toward SE VELHA (Old Cathedral) and SE NOVA (New Cathedral), with a quiet CAPELA ANTIGA (old chapel) nearby. The city's sound includes FADO COIMBRA (Coimbra-style fado), and major landmarks include UNIVERSIDADE COIMBRA (University of Coimbra), BIBLIOTECA JOANINA (Joanina Library), PACO DAS ESCOLAS (School Palace), TORRE UNIVERSITARIA (University Tower), and JARDIM BOTANICO (Botanical Garden). The formal academic robes often remind visitors of Hogwarts and are frequently discussed in connection with J.K. Rowling."

Sunday Brunch Gossip at the Café
Find the capitalized words in the puzzle grid
"During Sunday brunch, Marcus sipped his coffee and felt a creeping ANEMOIA (nostalgia for a past you never lived) while the café was filled with cozy BOMBINATE (deep humming). The place was a full-blown rumor buffet, and one self-important PETTIFOG (petty quibbler) was practically auditing the bill like it was a federal case. Across the table, a dramatic woman launched a full JEREMIAD (complaint rant) about the “tragic” wait time, and her friend declared the whole brunch situation totally CATAWAMP (out of order).
Marcus stayed PHLEGMAT (calm) until a loud BLATHERS (talkative fool) tried to BAMBOOZ (trick) the waiter with a suspicious “math error.” When the scheme fizzled, the culprit made a quick SKEDADDLE (run away), then tried to PREVARIC (speak evasively) when caught near the door. Marcus just grinned with quiet FELICITY (simple happiness) and savored the SERENDIP (happy accident) of learning new words with his coffee."
Etymology Spotlight
PETTIFOG — From 16th-century English, combining petty (small, trivial) with fogger, likely from the German Fugger, a powerful banking family whose name became slang for an underhanded dealer. A pettifogger originally meant a small-time, unscrupulous lawyer who handled trivial cases with excessive fuss. Today it describes anyone who quibbles over minor details.
